PRTG AD Replication Errors Sensor

We noticed some odd behavior from our PRTG AD Replication Errors Sensor recently: It seemed to be sending the admin password in the clear... not great.

I told them I was worried.

The response that I got back was that the AD Replication Errors Sensor does currently send the password in the clear. I have now disabled those sensors and I'd recommend that everyone else using them does the same as well until this is fixed. Here's their response to me

Yes, I'm afraid the AD Replication Errors Sensor is sending the admin username/password in clear text and there's no workaround currently. This a known bug and we already working on it to fix it. I'm afraid there's no ETA yet, but you will be notified automatically as soon as there's a fix available.
